A woman has died after being found with serious head injuries at a house in East Ham.

Police in Newham were called to a house in Eversleigh Road at 8.12pm on Thursday, 30 July, following reports of a female with injuries.

Officers and the London Ambulance Service attended and found the woman, who was in her 20s, had suffered critical injuries to her head and upper body.

She was pronounced dead at the scene a short while later after paramedics were unable to save her life.

Officers are in the process of informing her next-of-kin.

A post-mortem examination will be carried out in due course.

While no arrests have been made over the incident, an investigation is ongoing.
