Deciding what to do with your day can be problematic so we’ve come up with three ideas to make Canary Wharf life more pleasant.

1. Take in some art

The Conflux exhibition showcases fine artwork created by postgraduate students at the University of the Arts, London. Entry is free.

Trinity Buoy Wharf, noon.

2. See some synth-pop legends

Marie Fredriksson and Per Gessle, better known as Roxette are playing The O2, three years after selling out Wembley Arena. Tickets will set you back an astonishing £41 though.

The O2, 8pm.

3. Spend time in a dolls’ house

The V and A Museum of Childhood is the setting for a special celebration of one of the oldest and most iconic of children’s toys. The Life in a Dolls House exhibition features 12 pieces of differing styles and is a must for any fan of the toy. Entry is free.

V and A Museum of Childhood, opens 10am.
