Two people have been charged with the murder of Marcel Addai who died after he was stabbed on a Hoxton estate.
Akeem Gbadamosi, 21 and Eugene Ocran, 19, are currently in custody and will appear at Hendon Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, September 10.
Detectives investigating the fatal stabbing of the 17-year-old arrested the pair on Wednesday, September 9 and charged them with murder.
Police found Marcel with stab wounds on the St John’s Estate in Hackney on Friday, September 4, and he later died of his wounds in hospital.
Onlookers had described him being chased by around 15 people before he died.
Following his death his family made a desperate plea for information, saying they were “totally devastated” by his death.
