Plans to transform a disused patch of Deptford into homes and commercial space will be unveiled tomorrow, Thursday (April 16).

Developer Anthology is targeting the former Arklow Road Trading Estate for it latest scheme, which will also include new public space across the two and a half acre patch.

A public consultation - running on Saturday (18) and between April 20 to 23 – will detail a mixed use scheme focussed on homes for private sale specifically for Londoners.

The site does not have residential planning permission, though Lewisham Council has earmarked it for mixed use.

Executive director of Anthology Adam Gaymer said: “We have been engaging with the community since we bought the site as we are keen to ensure that our plans deliver much-needed homes and act as a catalyst for regeneration in the area.

“Deptford has a great history and we want to ensure that our plans for Arklow Road will make a positive contribution.”

Tomorrow’s public exhibition runs until 7pm, at the Arklow Road Trading Estate in Arklow Road.
