Make a lunchtime dash to Surrey Quays Shopping Centre and save live with The British Heart Foundation.
The charity is launching its Bag It. Beat It campaign at noon September 14, and encouraging the community to drop off sacks filled with unwanted clobber.
Bric-a-brac, CDs, DVDs, books and handbags are also in demand.
Southwark Mayor Cllr Dora Dixon-Fyle will make the first donation.
Manager of Surrey Quays Shopping Centre Ian Moore said: “We are delighted to be hosting a Bag It. Beat It. event this year as it helps to raise lifesaving funds and vital awareness for a fantastic cause. Last year our generous shoppers donated a magnificent 1452 bags, but this year we want to push for more.”
