Police are urging witnesses to come forward after a man was stabbed in Hackney.

The 26-year-old suffered serious injuries and was taken to an east London hospital after the attack in Kingsland High Street, near the junction with Dalston Lane, on June 6.

The victim remains in a serious but stable condition.

Officers, who were called to the scene at around 5.15am, are now appealing for information while enquiries continue.

No arrests have been made.
