A pet-friendly hotel on the riverside in Canary Wharf has appeared in its new guise.
The five-star Canary Riverside Plaza , was formerly the Four Seasons Canary Wharf, but left the brand earlier this year.
It is now an independent, luxury, lifestyle hotel which owners said is “moving away from a more traditional approach to hospitality”.
As well as 142 rooms and suites, many of which enjoy panoramic views of the Thames, there is also a 223sqm Presidential Suite, a riverside wellness centre with infinity pool and tennis court, a spa offering treatments by Organic Pharmacy, complete with soothing riverside vistas.
The hotel was designed by Renton, Howard, Wood and Levin, inspired by ancient Egyptian design and opened under the Four Seasons name in December 1999.
The new management took over on April 30 and to celebrate the hotel’s independence, its restaurant Quadrato has launched a new menu and welcomed a new head chef Ricardo Garcia Sunet.
Double Rooms start from £200.
