Single Londoners can turn their daily commute into a chance to find a date on Match’s new Transport for Lovin’ bus.
East London workers can jump aboard its Datemaster service from Limehouse station to Waterloo on Thursday, August 11, and be served up breakfast at specially installed tables, as they speed date their way to work.
Match’s research found 57% of single Londoners didn’t have time to go on as many dates as they would like – hence the introduction of its bus-based operation.
The flirting service will leave Commercial Road in Limehouse at 8am and arrive in Waterloo by 9.30am.
It will also run from Clapham Junction-Liverpool Street on Wednesday, August 10 and Brixton-Liverpool Street on Friday, August 12.
Match dating expert Kate Taylor said it was a chance to flirt before commuters arrived at work
She said: “I wish normal commutes could be so romantic, but Londoners are usually keen to avoid eye contact on public transport.
“The Datemaster bus finally allows singles to interact in a fun, romantic and time-efficient way.”
The service is open to anyone but those interested must register online and select their preferred day and route.
