A man in his 40s was impaled on a metal railing after falling out of a window in Bow.
He was rushed to hospital after the fall in the early hours of Saturday, December 19.
A London Ambulance Service (LAS) spokeswoman said: “We were called at 1.52am to reports of an incident in Bruce Road.
“We treated a man, believed to be in his 40s, for leg injuries.
“He was taken as a priority to the Royal London Hospital.”
The LAS Joint Response Twitter account also tweeted: “Responded with @MPSTowerHam to a patient who fell from a window, impaled on railings. A&E as a priority.”
LAS could not confirm the patient’s current condition and the Metropolitan Police Service had no record of the incident.
