A man remains in a critical condition in hospital after he was stabbed in Stratford.

Police, ambulance and the London Air Ambulance were called to Water Lane at around 1pm on Sunday, September 6.

The victim - believed to be in his thirties - was airlifted to hospital.

Water Lane was cordoned off and Transport for London reported buses in the area had been diverted.

No arrests have been made.

The incident comes after two 17-year-old boys were stabbed to death during the past three days.

The first was on Thursday in Brockley and the second in Hoxton on Friday.

Police have since named Marcel Addai as the 17-year-old boy who was murdered on the St John’s Estate in Hoxton on Friday night.
