A 23-year-old unnamed man has been arrested following the shooting of a 25-year-old in Hackney.

Moses Fadairo was shot in broad daylight on Saturday, September 26, in Chatsworth Road and reportedly stumbled into a nearby butchers where he collapsed and died.

Specialist firearms officers and paramedics from the London Ambulance Service reached him at about 1.15pm but he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Moses was formally identified at Poplar Mortuary on Sunday, September 27, with the cause of death given as a gunshot wound to the chest.

On Sunday, September 27, a 23-year-old was arrested on suspicion of murder and driving related offences. He has been bailed until early December.

Detectives from the Homicide and Major Crime Command are investigating and are appealing to anyone with information to come forward.
