Sweeties with celebrity sparkle have arrived in Canary Wharf courtesy of Made In Chelsea’s Jamie Laing.
The platinum blonde TV star brought crates of his Candy Kittens confectionery brand to Waitrose Canary Wharf – and they promptly sold out on the same afternoon.
The brand has launched two new fruity flavours – Sour Blueberry and Lemon Sherbet.
The zingy tastes of the latter are our favourite, with both costing £2.49 a bag.
When quizzed on his taste of choice, Jamie didn’t divulge.
“I like both of them,” he told The Wharf.
“It’s like asking someone to pick between their children isn’t it?
“Having said that, I was my mum’s favourite.”
Shoppers queued for selfies then stashed up on the cute bags of treats.
All the treats are gluten free and made from natural flavours and colours.
Ed Williams, MD of Candy Kittens, added: “While they are both classic flavours, we’ve given them a modern twist to ensure that they really pack a punch and appeal to our existing customer base.”
Candy Kittens will now be stocked in the Canada Place store.
