Twenty residents fled from a block of flats in Ursula Gould Way, Limehouse following a rooftop terrace fire.
No-one was hurt in the incident on Sunday, August 2 , and everyone had left the building before the London Fire Brigade arrived.
The fire – attended by 21 firefighters from Millwall, Poplar, Stratford and Whitechapel stations – affected decking on a flat roof, part of which was damaged by the blaze.
The brigade was called at 4.08pm and the flames were under control by 5.18pm.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
Ursula Gould Way is next to Limehouse Cut canal and near to Bartlett Park, with properties on the street starting at around £350,000.
