Model-turned-adrenaline junkie Jodie Kidd looked pretty in pink on the trading floor while raising cash for the Cantor Fitzgerald Relief Fund at BGC’s Chairty Day.

After plonking her handbag down, she grabbed a handful of phones, lent back, put her feet on the desk and got trading, despite

“If that makes sense to you, that’s bloody brilliant,” she told a BGC employee mid-trade. “It’s French, I don’t understand French!”

After smiling her way through some deals, she told The Wharf this was her second stint on the trading floor.

“It’s great being back, it’s an amazing day,” she said.

“It’s such a wonderful way to make money for charities and I’m really pleased to be here.

“It’s brilliant – I have no idea what I am talking about though, it’s like another language.

“It’s hi-octane and full-on though, so everything I like.”

Jodie was one of many celebrities at BGC’s Charity Day in Canary Wharf, held in memory of those who lost their lives in the 9/11 terrorist attacks.
