Six bankers have been sacked after pretending to behead a colleague in an Isis-style execution.
In a video obtained by The Sun the HSBC workers can be heard shouting “Allahu Akbar”, which translates as God is great, aping the cries of terrorists engaged in real executions.
The men can be seen wearing orange jumpsuits and balaclavas similar to those worn by Islamic fundamentalists, with one holding a coat hanger as a pretend knife.
Those involved filmed the stunt while on a day at Teamworks Karting track in Birmingham and then posted it online, where it was spotted by appalled co-workers.
An HSBC spokesman said: “We do not tolerate inappropriate behaviour. As soon as The Sun brought this video to our attention we took the decision to sack the individuals involved.
“This is an abhorrent video and HSBC would like to apologise for any offence.”
