Jenna Coleman may be appearing at the Doctor Who Festival at Excel this weekend (November 14-15) but she will seen be disappearing from our screens as Clara Oswald.

And Doctor Who showrunner Steven Moffat hasn’t even begun thinking about a replacement yet because he’s too busy finishing the last episodes.

Speaking on the first day of the festival, he said: “We went to the BBC to talk about the type of person we might be looking at. To my unending terror, we have not yet finished Episode 11 and Episode 12 is nowhere near finished so we haven’t actually delivered the show yet.”

The 12th Doctor, Peter Capaldi is also has no sense of time when it comes to the recruitment process. He said: “I’m not quite sure where we’re at but I will be involved at some point. Obviously at the end of the day, it has to be someone I’m happy to work with.”
