Another two men have been charged with the murder of 17-year-old Marcel Addai in Hoxton.

Rickell Rogers, 21, and Sheku Jallow, 22, both of no fixed address, were arrested on Tuesday, September 15, and appear in custody at Hendon Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, September 17.

Four other men have previously been charged with the murder.

Unemployed Momar Faye, 18, of no fixed address, appeared in custody at Hendon Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, September 15, and was remanded in custody to the Old Bailey on Thursday, September 17.

Sodiq Adebayo, 22, Akeem Gbadamosi, 21, and Eugene Ocran, 19, are all currently in custody to appear at the Old Bailey at dates to be confirmed.

Marcel died in hospital on Friday, September 4, after he was reportedly chased through the St John’s Estate in Hoxton and stabbed.

Following his death, his family released a statement that said: “We have been left totally devastated by the death of Marcel. We cannot comprehend how anyone could carry out such a wicked attack.

“We want those people who know something about this attack to come forward and provide information to the police. These people must come forward to prevent another family going through the pain we are all now suffering."
