Four people have been taken to hospital after a lorry and an Audi A3 crashed on the A12 last night.
The A12 was closed for eight hours from around midnight following the incident at the junction with Lochnagar Street.
A London Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: “We were called at 12.15am to Lochnagar Street to reports of a road traffic collision.
“We sent a number of resources to the scene including an ambulance crew, duty manager and London’s Air Ambulance.
"We treated four people - two men for head injuries, a man reported to be in his 20s for arm, leg and pelvic injuries and a woman for arm injuries. They were all taken to Royal London hospital.”
A Tfl spokesman said: “The traffic congestion is starting to clear and all bus routes which were delayed have returned to normal.”
