Two people have been arrested following a violent brawl in Woolwich.
More than 30 police officers tried to control the fight, which erupted just hours after a summer street party in Shooters Hill on Thursday, July 2.
Witnesses expressed their shock as they reported seeing thugs turning over cars and fighting.
A spokesman for Scotland Yard said: “We were called to reports of a fight at 10.45pm in Shooter’s Hill. There were no injuries. Two people were arrested. One was arrested on suspicion of criminal damage.”
Buses were also diverted due to the incident, with routes 89, 244 and 486 affected.
