Didier Drogba will be signing copies of his new book in Jubilee Place Mall in Canary Wharf on Wednesday, November 25.

The Chelsea legend is officially the club’s fourth highest ever scorer, with 164 goals, and was influential in their Champions League win in 2012 – the year he was voted the club’s greatest ever player.

The striker saw not only the most successful period of Chelsea’s history, but also that of his home nation, Cote D’Ivoire, helping the country to its first ever appearance in a World Cup back in 2006.

Now plying his trade for Montreal Impact in American Major League Soccer, Drogba has turned his hand to writing.

Commitment is described as an “honest and revealing autobiography he will talk about life as an immigrant in Paris, the importance of his education and how finding success later than most professional footballers has kept him grounded.”

Drogba will sign copies of Commitment on Wednesday, 25 November, Jubilee Place, 1pm.
