Canary Wharfers got that fun Friday feeling by sliding onto the estate alongside reality TV star Louise Thompson.

The Made in Chelsea favourite switched west for east London to help launch the Golden Oreo promotion in Westferry Circus.

The tasty-looking playground passtime marks the UK launch of the brand’s latest biscuit as well as chiming with research which shows one in two adults wish they could still release their childhood streak on rides.

Donning a denim outfit she was the first of many big kids to clamber through the biscuit-shaped entrance before speeding down the metallic chute.

She said: “I’m so excited to launch the Oreo slide – everyone should try and have a go!

“It’s so important to take a break sometimes and just enjoy being a big kid.

“Let’s face it, you’re never too old to have fun!”

Ahead of her visit, the star Tweeted "Heading over to Canary Wharf this morning for a fun surprise!"

The Oreo slide will remain for the rest of the day to allow those on the estate to slide away their stresses.
