Bukowski in pop-up mall Boxpark has been left with minor damage following a fire.

A man managed to escape the fire, which started in the kitchen, before London Fire Brigade arrived and no-one else was hurt in the incident.

Four fire engines crewed by 21 firefighters dealt with the incident on Wednesday, September 9, which began at around 10.13am.

The flames were brought under control by 10.56am.

The brigade was alerted when people rang in to say they could see smoke pouring out of the units.

The charcoal grill restaurant has closed for the day, but the rest of Boxpark has now reopened to the public.

Bukowski, which serves up burgers and ribs (the former cost around £10), also has a branch in Brixton Market.
