Adele is to embark on her first arena tour for five years.

In a tour that will also take in Belfast, Dublin, Manchester and Glasgow, the singing star will take to the O2 stage four times in March.

Her third album 25 has sold 737,000 copies in the UK in just six days, overtaking the record of 696,000 set by Oasis’s Be Here Now in 1997.

Here’s everything you need to know about her March shows.

When are the shows?

The O2 shows will take place on March 15, 16, 18 and 19.

When do tickets go on sale?

Tickets for the UK dates go on sale to members of her website on December 1 before going on general sale on December 4.

How much will it cost?

Prices have not yet been released, but tickets for her Royal Albert Hall show in 2011 were a hefty £52.00-£71.00. Probably not the place for a bargain night out...

Where else will she be?

If you happen to be north of these parts, you might want to catch her at Manchester Arena on March 7 , the SSE Hydro in Glasgow on March 25 and 26 or the Genting Arena in Birmingham on March 29 and 30.

What does she say?

On touring, she told BBC Radio 1's Nick Grimshaw: "There is something quite lonely about going on stage in front of loads of people and then everyone going home.

"It sounds really silly. I'm sure they would hang out with me, if I invited them back to my hotel, but I feel quite on my own a lot on tour.

"I like to think I've got it in me to do global tour – but we haven't made any firm plans."
