Around 100 firefighters and 15 fire engines are battling a blaze on Greenwich Peninsula. The London Fire Brigade said a recycling yard, pub and some industrial units in Tunnel Avenue had gone up in flames.
The cloud of black smoke is reportedly visible from The Shard and even as far as the Millbank Tower.

A cordon has been set up around the fire because of fears gas cylinders on the site could explode.
The brigade was alerted to the blaze by a flurry of more than 40 calls from 11.43am on Monday, August 8.
Engines have been called in from East Greenwich, Greenwich, Plumstead, Eltham, Deptford, Lewisham, Poplar, Whitechapel, and Bethnal Green.
Local reports suggest the fire may have affected the Studio 338 nightclub.
The London Ambulance Service and London Air Ambulance also attended.
Alexandra Jones tweeted: “Huge fire in Greenwich. Hope no one’s hurt.”
TfL reports Millenium Way and Boord Street are closed due to the thick smoke blocking motorists views.

Others are voicing concern that the blaze may be at the popular nightclub which opened its new atrium a few weeks ago.
Kira Joyce said: “Studio 338 on fire. Miss it already.”
Mitchell West said: “Looks like I won’t be finding out how Studio 338 is with the new roof then.”
