Vodafone has revealed its new store in the heart of Canada Place Mall.
The mobile phone giant's arrival signals a shake up for retail in the shopping space, with Monsoon and Accessorize due to move into the former Next unit.
It comes at a time when Vodafone is pursuing a strategy of expanding its home market as rival BT prepares to take over EE for £12billion.
In an interview with the Financial Times last month, Jeroen Hoencamp, chief executive of Vodafone’s British business, said the company would be investing £1billion in its UK network this year with the aim of making London in particular one of the best-connected cities in the world.
It will also be developing its home TV and broadband services.
