Music acts will make way for a week of corporate events as The O2 hosts Conference Week 2016.
It is the first time the North Greenwich venue has cleared its diary for seven days of back-to-back business gatherings as well as breakout sessions and team building.
Areas will also be made available for intimate corporate meetings as the venue looks to exploit the presence of its on-site hotel.
The showcase is set to accommodate up to 15,000 delegates between September 4 and 11, 2016, and is now looking for clients, vying with Excel to become a leading corporate centre.
Commercial director at The O2 Steve Sayer said the week reflected the venue’s “commitment to the corporate events sector”.
“Clearing our diary for the first time in this way allows us the flexibility to hold numerous events and offer true value to our clients,” he said.
“London is competing on the world stage for the conference business and we are supportive of any efforts to bring more business to this city.”
The venue has previously hosted corporate showcases for clients including KPMG, St James’ Place and the Salvation Army.
