Commuter and sightseer catamaran firm MBNA Thames Clippers has been hailed as the best marine business to work for.
It scooped the accolade at The British Marine Foundation's annual awards, coming top in the category for companies with 10 employees or more.
Judges noted it open door policy had been welcomed by staff as well as "fantastic" communication channels and clear business objectives.
MBNA Thames Clippers also had to showcase leadership and engagement, staff wellbeing and training and demonstrate how it contributes to the local and boating communities.
MBNA Thames Clippers fleet training coordinator and master Emma Crompton said: “It’s an honour to have received this prestigious award for best marine company to work for.
"MBNA Thames Clippers was founded over 16 years ago as a small, family run business.
"There are now over 250 employees working for the company but it has still retained that friendly atmosphere where everybody is valued no matter what their role.
"Our award will take pride of place in our offices.”
