British Airways has trebled the number of services between London City Airport and Geneva.

This means the airline now boasts year-round flights targeting business passengers and those after a winter break.

From September 6, the existing five-flight-a-week programme will be increased to up to three a day, with departures in the morning and evening.

British Airways’ general manager commercial at London City Luke Hayhoe said: “Geneva has traditionally been a leisure route for us from London City but more and more of our customers have been asking us to provide a year-round business schedule, linking these two important commercial centres and complimenting the services we offer from London Heathrow.”

Flights are now on sale with one-way hand baggage only fares available from £49 each way.
