British Airways has its sights set on summer and has doubled flights between London City Airport and the Loire Valley.

It will add the extra routes to the twice weekly route from the East End to Angers, in the French resort.

The schedule launched in May 2012 and will be updated to three a week in May 2016, then four a week in June, July and August.

British Airways’ general manager commercial, London City, Luke Hayhoe, said: “With quick and convenient flights from London City Airport , France is one of the most popular countries that our customers want to visit. “So we are delighted to add new destinations, extra flights and improved schedules for next summer.”
