Bomb disposal experts are working in Bermondsey to make an unexploded World War II bomb safe.
The 1,000lb device was uncovered at 9.40am yesterday (March 23) at a building site near Grange Road
A 200m exclusion zone has been re-established to allow the soldiers to work. It had been reduced to 100m over night before residents were re-evacuated earlier this morning.
Southwark Council expects the 200m cordon to remain in place until late afternoon.
The council is keeping Seven islands leisure centre open today for those affected by the disruption where refreshments and rest facilities will be available.
