The chic new look was unveiled to Canary Wharf clients on Wednesday, November 25, but The Wharf had a sneak peek the day before to get the lowdown on everything from scientifically-driven Elemis Biotec facials to all of the 102 OPI nail colours now available to buy.
Here are our top five new Re:SPA products and treatments to try.
1. Elemis Biotec Facial
£45 for 25 minutes, at members price, £47 guests.
This new snazzy piece of scientific kit comprises five separate technological treatments - ultrasonic, red and blue light therapy, galvanic, o2 intravenous and micro currents.
Combined, they work to exfoliate the skin, before tackling blemishes and plumping, lifting and firming the complexion after just one session.
Spa manager Adele Rowley said: “We wanted to bring in an English, scientific brand, that caters with a body collection too.
“The Guinot treatment which was here before used three technologies - this uses five.
“It’s good for young skin to balance it or older people who want to lift and plump their skin.
“We have four machines so if you want to come in with a group of friends, you can use it as a spa day.”
2. Spoilt for manicure choice with 102 OPI shades
From £28 for members, £30 guests for an Express Manicure
From candy colours to something more dark and alluring, your manicure can certainly match ny mood with the range of shades available for treatment or to buy individually.
Express Manicures mean you can enjoy a fresh new look in under half an hour.
Adele said: “We’ve never sold so many nail colours since they’ve been on the new display.
“Nudes, pinks and oranges are the most popular and the Christmas collection - I’m wearing Guys and Galaxies shade.”
3. Elemis Lime and ginger body scrub
Members £45, Guests £48
This is set to bring a fresh, fruity zingy to brush away the winter blues.
The arrival of the Elemis brand to the Canary Wharf spa sees a toxin-releasing treatment which will scrub away dead skin cells and leave skin silky smooth, ready to be slathered with nourishing body oil.
4. Murad Skin Scanner
15 minute session is free with a Murad Facial
This machinery allows clients to check back in on the state of their skin - and see how well their facials have worked - every couple of months.
It takes a clinical image of the skin to reveal redness, thread veins, pigmentation, lines and wrinkles.
Adele said: “Sometimes people can be daunted and don’t know which facial to pick.
“We have two options - Murad or Elemis Biotec - and the therapist picks the one most suited to their needs.”
5. The snazzy spa vibe
There’s a new liveliness to Re:SPA courtesy of bright lights, fresh uniforms and songs pumping out of the stereo.
Adele said: “Where we had the nail bar before it was very dark, very quiet and people were scared to talk.
“We’ve now got music going which means people feel they can talk, and more people are passing by and looking in because they want to know what’s going on.”
