Do Vassilakis-König-Tree Proposal (2003)
The abstract mind of Salvador Dalí lent a hand in this striking Canary Wharf sculpture.
Artist Do Vassilakis-König befriended the godfather of surrealism in the '60s and his influence shows through in much of her work.

She spent time living in Greece and her fascination with mythology and ancient Greek and Roman culture is also evident in her work.
The bronze tree can be found in the lobby of 40 Bank St. A towering sculpture, it was cast in Italy where the artist currently lives.
Vassilakis-König has two other pieces exhibited in Canary wharf, Angelo I and Sasso Cosmico, the latter a recent addition to Westferry Circus.
