Jennie Moncur - Red Berries And Blueberries (1990)
Textile artist Jennie Moncur creates contemporary tapestry wall hangings for commission and exhibition.
Occasionally she strays outside her chosen medium, and her work in Canary Wharf is one of those exceptions.
Red Berries And Blueberries are two painted linen murals hung in the lobby of 40 Bank Street with the designs echoing the shapes, colours and decorative influences of her tapestries.
The British artist studied at Goldsmiths College before specialising in weaving at the Royal College of Art.
She was appointed a trustee of the Crafts Council by the Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport.
