Flight Paths, layers of tracks made up of tiny mosaic tiles, was designed to complement the architecture of East Winter Garden.

Four panels hang in pairs under the building's glass roof.

The name refers to the basis for the design, the trails, formed by circulating air, sometimes visible behind the wing tips of planes in flight.

Michael has been influenced by the work of Rauschenberg, Tapiès and Cristo.

Originally from Manchester, he has completed commissions worldwide and is considered to be one of the most innovative artists in his field.
