Daniel Chadwick

Suspended like a giant mobile above the Jubilee Place Mall, Daniel Chadwick's Gallery III has a new home.

Originally located in Churchill Place, the steel and fibre glass structure now sits comfortably in its well lit environment.

The curved arms of the floating sculpture move almost imperceptibly in the breeze, overlapping but never touching.

His work is about balance and it is the kinetic nature of the pieces that fascinates him.
Created in the artist's Stroud workshop, Galaxy III is typical of Daniel Chadwick's sculpture.

He trained in architectural design and worked as an architect between 1987 and 1991. Since then he has exhibited extensively in the UK and abroad.
