Millwall failed to overturn a recent run of bad form in their home match against Billericay on Saturday, going down 12 points to five.

From the opening exchanges both forward packs played with aggression and at a high intensity. Millwall dominated set plays pushing Billericay back on their own scrum on a number of occasions.

Not for the first time, Dave Allen shone as man of the match as Blackheath completed a comprehensive victory against SSE National League One strugglers Cambridge.

The open-side scored five tries, half his side's total, as the Club broke their hoodoo at Grantchester Road where they had previously lost six in a row.

Blackheath's David Dunne was the star of the show as the south-east Londoners sneaked away from Tyneside with the narrowest of victories.

Blaydon, second in the league and previously unbeaten since October 6, led for 63 minutes and looked certain to wrap up their 16th win of the season.
