Canary Wharf Group has won a High Court injunction preventing protesters from setting up camp on the estate.

With St Paul's and Finsbury Square full of anti-capitalist "Occupy" protesters, social media sites had come alive with chatter about targeting the home of Barclays, HSBC and other major banks.

Dressed in ghoulish costumes the street theatre anti-capitalists travelled from an earlier protest at the Occupy London camp at St Pauls.

Around 50 campaigners turned out to listen to speeches from economists and to try and engage with the banking community in the Wharf about the economic problems faced by society.
