Severe delays on Jubilee line for rush hour

A person on the track caused major problems on the Jubilee line on Tuesday afternoon.

The service was closed between Waterloo and Finchley Road following the incident at around 3pm. The section later reopened but severe delays were continuing across the whole line at 5pm.


A woman was hit by a Jubilee line train at Swiss Cottage station this afternoon.

The line was part suspended between Waterloo and West Hampstead following the incident just before 3.30pm.

There are severe delays along the Jubilee line due to a faulty train at North Greenwich.

The line was closed between Canary Wharf and Stratford just under an hour ago while the train was fixed.


A Good Samaritan was left hospitalised after he was savagely attacked for jumping to the rescue of a woman at West Ham Tube station.

The 38-year-old from Poplar confronted a group of men at the Jubilee line stop after he spotted them throwing the woman's luggage around.

Next week's 48-hour Tube strike called off

Tube strikes, which the RMT said would shut the Jubilee line, have been cancelled.

The strikes were planned for October 14-16 as part of a long battle over staff cuts that Transport for London said would save £50million a year.
