After a couple of consecutive defeats we had to stop the rot against table-topping Nottingham Forest for their visit to The Den on Saturday.

It was a nil-nil draw but we didn't shut-up shop and aim to repel the opposition. We were the team on top for the majority of the match.

The initial three matches following the International break was always going to be tough test for the Lions.

Despite Ipswich not having started the season that well we haven't had a good record at Portman Road in recent years and former Millwall boss Mick McCarthy has proved a real thorn in our side.

The current international break provides a good opportunity to take a bit of a rest from the hectic schedule of matches at the start of the season and allows the coaching staff, players and fans alike to take stock of the first month of the season.
