A host of stars including Ardal O'Hanlon, Rich Hall, Nina Conti and David O'Doherty will be appearing at this year's Greenwich Comedy Festival.

Taking place in September, shows will be held at the grounds of the National Maritime Museum, near to its original home at the Old Royal Naval College.

This weekend sees the likes of David O'Doherty, Mark Watson, Josh Widdicombe and the legendary Alexei Sayle take to the stage for the Greenwich Comedy Festival.

The two day spectacular will be played out at a host of venues in the borough, from Up The Creek and the Greenwich Theatre to the Woolwich Tramshed.

Alexei Sayle, Mark Watson and David O'Doherty will be headline acts in this year's Greenwich Comedy Festival, it has been announced.

Organisers have unveiled a host of events to run across the borough for the weekend event, which takes place on November 2 and 3.

The Greenwich Comedy Festival is returning to the town in November.

Previously run at the Old Royal Naval College, it will now be performed at a variety of venues including Greenwich Theatre and Up The Creek Comedy Club.

The popular Greenwich Comedy Festival has upped sticks and moved across the river.

The event, which ran for four years in the Old Royal Naval College, left the site after being asked to downsize and this year will be based at the East End's Allen Gardens, next to the iconic Truman Brewery.
