A Wharf-based banker and his partner will share their experiences of the adoption process as part of a collaborative event with Hackney Council on Friday.


Mason is 10. He looks out on Canary Wharf from his high-rise. He wants to take film-maker David Bond on a tour of his manor, where he takes his dog for a walk to the patch of green that is his meagre playground.

"People moan at us for playing ball games," he says as he heads past the forbidding signs and down the "curly wurly" stairs of his concrete jungle.

London's first children's hospice has been supporting families since 2000 and continues to increase its services, reaching out to 300 young people across 12 London boroughs.

The band made sure Richard House Hospice was able to hold a collection outside the gig and it raised £2000 for its Show A Little Love appeal.
