Charlton earned a point against Watford in a fiery and very tactical encounter at Vicarage Road on Saturday.

The Addicks had taken the lead with a Yann Kermorgant penalty but after Daniel Pudil levelled the scores the south-east Londoners had to defend well to hold on.

What was meant to be a special day for Millwall FC and it's supporters last Saturday in the FA Cup semi-final at Wembley was overshadowed by the actions of a few dozen idiots in the stands.

The actions of these people have dragged the name of our club through the mud yet again.


It's back to business for Millwall on Tuesday evening as they battle for Championship survival against Watford at The Den.

And Lions' midfielder Chris Taylor said while their cup heroics this season are cause for pride, maintaining their position in the league's second tier was pivotal.

Watford overcame a first-half sending off to steal the points at The Valley on Tuesday night.

Gianfranco Zola's men were resolute with 10 men for the whole of the second period when it looked like a defeat was on the cards and a winner against the run of play saw them to a 2-1 victory.


Ricardo Vaz Te rescued West Ham from defeat against Watford on Wednesday night with a late goal.

The Hammers forward who came on as a substitute midway through the second half netted on 87 minutes to cancel out a Sean Murray opener. It secured a 1-1 draw leaving them just a point behind leaders Southampton.
