West Ham went through to the semi-final of the Capital One Cup, after a fantastic 2-1 victory against Tottenham Hotspur at White Hart Lane on Wednesday evening.

Goals from Matt Jarvis and Modibo Maiga saw West Ham through after Emmanuel Adebayor had given Spurs the lead.


Police have arrested a second man over allegations of anti-Semitic messages posted on Twitter following the football match between Tottenham and West Ham.

The 48-year-old was arrested at his home in Canning Town on Thursday morning. He was later released on police bail until a date in January.


Fraud charges have been brought against three people following allegations made by West Ham United FC and the Olympic Park Legacy Company that they may have been spied on.

The claims arose over the east London side's bid to take over the Olympic Stadium post-Games.

A fourth suspect has been arrested by detectives investigating allegations that Tottenham Hotspur spied on Olympic officials during its bid to take over the stadium.

That was the message from the Olympic Park Legacy Company's chief executive Andrew Altman and chairman Baroness Ford when questioned by the London Assembly this morning.
