Travel disruption is set to continue across south-east London during the evening rush hour due to repairs needed to a railway bridge.

Southeastern has said the work would continue throughout the night and a full-service should resume by Tuesday morning.

Train chaos across south-east London is set to continue into rush-hour with a man refusing to come down from a tree in Charlton.

The line between Greenwich and Woolwich Arsenal has seen Kent-bound trains suspended as the tree is hanging over the train line.


Services on Southeastern were severely disrupted on Wednesday afternoon after a freight train derailed at Charlton.

There were no services on the Greenwich line for much of the day following the incident which happened just after midday.


Commuters are being warned of potential travel disruption later on Monday as the south-east prepares for storms.

Train operators are urging people to keep an eye on their websites for updates while transport police are also advising caution.
