The London Assembly has voted to investigate concerns about the relationship between Mayor of London Boris Johnson's inward investment arm and ABP, the Chinese developer which landed the contract to redevelop land neighbouring Royal Albert Dock.
The deal has come under fire with suggestions the relationship between London & Partners and ABP was too "cosy" and the tender process flawed.

As reported in The Wharf, Chinese developer ABP will transform land neighbouring the UEL and London City Airport Royal at Royal Albert Dock by 2017. The project could create an estimated 20,000 full-time jobs.
