Former airport boss Richard Gooding closed down his long-serving charity last weekend - but not before handing over a £20,000 cheque to the Richard House Children's Hospice.
Gooding, until recently London City Airport's chief executive, called an end to the REG Charitable Trust at his 65th birthday party last weekend.
It was prize time for volunteers from City and Canary Wharf companies at East London Business Alliance's Employee Volunteer Awards.
