RMT members working to maintain the track on the Jubilee Line are being balloted for strike action in a dispute over the withdrawal of rest days.


Unions have suspended this week's industrial action on the Tube network following talks with London Underground bosses.

TSSA announced it was calling off the 48-hour walk-out, which was due to begin on Tuesday night, at around midday before the RMT released its statement at 1pm.

This week's DLR strike cancelled

A 48-hour DLR strike due to take place from this Wednesday has been cancelled by union officials.

There is no news on whether a proposed walk-out on February 4 and 5 will still go ahead. A statement from Transport for London read: "The RMT union has cancelled a planned strike on the DLR on Wednesday 29 and Thursday 30.


Docklands Light Railway staff have voted to go on strike in a row over pay and industrial relations threatening major disruption.

RMT Union members backed action by 9-1 after clashing with management over the use of agency staff, end-of-year pay increases and disciplinary procedures.

Workers on the Docklands Light Railway are threatening to walk out following a row over pay and working conditions.

The Rail, Maritime and Transport union is also accusing management of hiring contract staff to undermine jobs and of a failure to provide adequate training.
