The south London derby against Charlton on Saturday promised so much with so many of our supporters declaring how they hadn't looked forward to a game as much as this one for ages.

In the end we went home a bit disappointed not to have claimed all three points after totally dominating the game and in particular the second half when we pinned them back.

Two goals from Liam Trotter and a Darius Henderson effort saw the Lions to a vital win at The Den, although two goals from Billy Sharp set up a tense finish last night.

A late, late goal from Andy Keogh condemned the Lions to finish pointless at the City of Cardiff stadium, and they also saw midfielder Liam Trotter sent off to compound their bad day.

The Lions were promoted to the Championship with a 1-0 play-off final win over Swindon at Wembley last Saturday.
