Hopes of compensation for victims of the IRA bombing of South Quay were raised this week after David Cameron said it was a "vitally important issue" to the Government.

It came after the Prime Minister was asked in Parliament by MP for Belfast North Nigel Dodds about support for victims of Libyan-sponsored terrorism.


The campaign for IRA victims to receive compensation from the Libyan government gathered pace this week with a motion supporting the claims backed by Parliament.
