This season is rapidly turning into a disaster for Millwall Football Club.

Our embarrassing FA Cup exit at Southend last Saturday pretty much sums up our dismal season. Quite frankly we were awful.

Just as Millwall supporters were starting to look forward to the matches again, we were brought down to Earth with a huge bump with a heavy defeat at St Andrews against Birmingham on Tuesday night.

The south London derby against Charlton on Saturday promised so much with so many of our supporters declaring how they hadn't looked forward to a game as much as this one for ages.

In the end we went home a bit disappointed not to have claimed all three points after totally dominating the game and in particular the second half when we pinned them back.

The Lions mauled Hull City 4-0 at the Den on Saturday to put themselves top of the Championship with a 100 per cent record.

The on-loan Reading player is unavailable for selection as the Royals don't want him cup-tied, so Kenny Jackett will seek alternatives.
